I want to touch on this subject because even though we may think it is common sense, Price is one of the biggest factors in selling a home. Home Sellers get information from Real Estate Agents as to what the home might be worth, but ultimately they set the asking price.

Now I said a key phrase there ‘asking price’ Remember the public doesn’t care what you think the home is worth or what you need to get out of it. They are looking at homes similar to yours and will know right away if you are priced right or not.

One of the big problems with overpricing a home is that homes are sold in price brackets, like 200-250k, 250-275k and when you ovewr price your 250k home at 255k you actually price yourself out of your bracket and now you are the worst home in the next bracket up. Well It’s snowing hard and people are staying home, but how are the chages in the economy nationwide going to effect the Spokane Real Estate market?
